Tall Bob allows users to integrate their platform with a 3rd party application called Goki. The idea of integrating Goki with Tall Bob is to allow the Goki Customers to use the Tall Bob Platform to send SMS Messages to their customers when a new PIN Number is generated for their room
Goki Integration with Tall Bob
How does it work?
When a customer hotel reservation is created in your Goki account and the status has been changed to ‘Checked In’ a webhook event from your Tall Bob Account gets triggered.
Please ensure that the mobile number provided while creating the reservation follows the E.164 format
The triggered Webhook event sends out an SMS to your customer who has checked in with the PIN that needs to be used to unlock the door to their hotel room
This message send can be tracked by you in your Tall Bob Account. It can be viewed in the:
Example Scenarios
The user wants to only send the PIN Number
Connect Tall Bob and Goki
Enable only the 'Pin Number SMS Sending' checkbox.
This would send messages to the customers only with the PIN number
The user wants to only send the PIN Number and Room Information
Connect Tall Bob and Goki
Enable both 'Pin Number SMS Sending' and 'Room and Bed information' checkboxes.
Click on the Edit Template Button
The message template would look something like 'Here is your Pin {{ PIN }} for room {{ GOKIROOM }} your bed is {{ GOKIBED }}'
Edit the message template to something like 'Here is your Pin {{ PIN }} for room {{ GOKIROOM }}'
The user wants to only send the PIN Number and Bed information
Connect Tall Bob and Goki
Enable both 'Pin Number SMS Sending' and 'Room and Bed information' checkboxes.
Click on the Edit Template Button
The message template would look something like 'Here is your Pin {{ PIN }} for room {{ GOKIROOM }} your bed is {{ GOKIBED }}'
Edit the message template to something like 'Here is your Pin {{ PIN }} and your bed is {{ GOKIBED }}'
Limitations
The integration only supports sending room pins. Pins for common areas are not yet supported.
