Sender ID Registration in Tall Bob

Registering your Australian Alpha-Numeric Sender ID in the Tall Bob platform is a mandatory step before sending SMS messages using a custom sender name. This guide walks you through the process and explains what information you’ll need to complete your registration successfully.

Accessing the Sender Address Registration Page

To begin, log in to your Tall Bob account and navigate to the Manage Sender Address page: https://app.tallbob.com/manage_sender_address

Once you are on this page, click the “Add” button and select Australian Alpha-Numeric Sender Address from the available options. This will open the Sender ID registration form.

Step 1: Confirm Who Owns the Sender ID

You will first be asked to confirm who the Sender ID is being registered for? There are two options:

• Registering for your own business
• Registering on behalf of your customer

Your selection determines the business and authorised representative details required in the next steps.

Step 2: Provide Business and Authorised Representative Details

You must provide accurate and complete details about the registering entity.

If You Are Registering for Your Own Business, you will need to provide:

• Your business details
• Your authorised representative’s details

The authorised representative should be someone legally permitted to act on behalf of the business.

If You Are Registering on Behalf of Your Customer, you will need to provide:

• Your business details and your authorised representative’s details
• Your customer’s business details and their authorised representative’s details

* Authorised Representative: The authorised representative is not the person submitting the application. They must have legal authority to act on behalf of the legal entity e.g. listed on ABR Registry (CEO) or registered in ACMA as a business administrator.

Step 3: Enter Your Sender ID

Next, enter the alpha-numeric Sender ID you wish to register. Sender IDs must meet specific format and compliance requirements.

Step 4: Confirm Registration Status

You will be asked whether the Sender ID has already been registered. Select the appropriate option based on your situation.

Step 5: Confirm Relationship to the Legal Entity

You must then select the relationship between the Sender ID and the legal entity and provide supporting information where required.

Once all required fields have been completed:

1. Carefully review the information provided to ensure accuracy.
2. Tick the confirmation checkboxes to acknowledge that the details submitted are correct and authorised.
3. Click “Submit” to lodge your Sender ID registration request.
